RTC offers

This exclusive offer allows you to combine your monthly RTC pass with 10 free FLEX trips of 30 minutes or less! This is ideal for those who want to stay flexible, while enjoying different mobility options. This package is available for $99, only $10 more than the regular RTC monthly pass!  FLEX trips only become billable from the 31st minute (100 km are included per trip, 22¢ per additional km) and you have the month to use your 10 trips.

1. Choose the RTC BUS + FLEXauto package. 
2. If you are already a Communauto member, enter your membership number. If not, just leave the field blank.
3. Following the purchase, we will send you an email confirming the purchase, or a personalized link to start your registration if you are not yet a member. 
4. Once your registration is confirmed, you can immediately start a trip! It’s up to you whether or not you apply the pass on a particular trip.

How do I use my free FLEX trips? 

Please note: You must have a smartphone (or a tablet) and use the Communauto app to access FLEX vehicles to take advantage of this offer. Click on the button to activate and click again if you want to deactivate. The number to the right indicates the remaining trips. 

Be careful! Once the trip is over, it is no longer possible to modify your selection so don’t forget to activate the pass before releasing the vehicle if you want to use it!  On the other hand, don't forget to deactivate it if the duration of your trip means that you won't save enough to justify using a pass. It will deactivate on its own if you just block a vehicle without ever going to it. 

Tip: Activate the pass immediately after blocking the vehicle so you don’t risk forgetting afterwards!

Conditions

1. The RTC BUS + FLEXauto package allows you to avoid being billed for the first 30 minutes of your trip. Your trip becomes billable starting on the 31st minute (100 km included/trip, 22¢/km additional kms).
2. Each RTC BUS + FLEXauto package is valid for 10 trips with Communauto, during the month of validity of the purchased RTC monthly pass. Trips not used before the end of the month (its expiry) cannot be carried over to the following month. 
3. Full price applies regardless of the package purchase date. 
4. It’s up to you whether or not you apply the pass on a particular trip. You can activate it on any trip (there are no restrictions). 
5. You can activate your pass from the moment you block a vehicle; it is then possible to deactivate or reactivate it as many times as you wish for as long as the trip is still in progress. Once the vehicle has been released, it is no longer possible to modify your selection. 
6. The use of a RTC BUS + FLEXauto package is reserved to its holder. As part of a family or business membership, each co-member or authorized driver will need to add their own package to their account to also take advantage of the offer. 
7. The free time applies to the first 30 billable minutes of the trip, so you remain eligible for all the other credits to which you are entitled when using a FLEX vehicle: free blocking of the vehicle for 30 minutes to give you time to arrive, snow removal credit up to 15 minutes in winter, 20-minute credit if you refuel the vehicle. The relocation credit, however, cannot be combined with the package. Only one 30-minute credit will be granted per trip. 
8. By default, an amount of one dollar ($1) per trip is billed to limit your Damage Fee to $600 in the event of collision or damage (at-fault or not). Discover our other Damage Protection Plan options. 
9. The use of a RTC BUS + FLEXauto package may be suspended without the right to credit, refund, or extension of its period of validity in the event of default or non-compliance with the conditions of use of the service.
